Dr. Usa Klinhom earned her Ph.D. in Biology from Mahidol University, Thailand, in 1989. With extensive training in Thailand, Malaysia, the USA, Australia, and New Zealand, Dr. Klinhom’s research interests span Ecology, Ethnobiology, Ethnoecology, Wetland Ecology, and Forest Ecology.

A leading expert in traditional medicine, Dr. Klinhom currently serves as a subcommittee member for the Protection of Thai Traditional Medicine Knowledge and for Microorganisms in Thai Traditional Medicine under the Ministry of Public Health, Thailand.

Her work at the Thai-Korea Natural Phellinus Mushroom Research Center focuses on identifying Phellinus mushroom strains and exploring their genetics and DNA.

Dr. Klinhom has an extensive publication record, including numerous research articles and two authored books.
